At Adventure Aide, we use Braintree as our payment processor, if you have any questions about how their payment process works use this link.
As a participant, after you have booked an adventure, your money is put into to Braintree's escrow service. You have until 2 hours before the start of the adventure to cancel and receive a full refund, if you cancel within those 2 hours you will not receive a refund. The money will sit in that escrow service until 4 hours after the end of the adventure, at which point the money will be transferred to the Aide's account.
If you book a private session, your money won't be transferred into the escrow service until the Aide accepts your booking request and you finalize the request by confirming.
